New to Mercy Hill Church?
We know it can be intimidating going to a church where you don’t know people and don’t know how things are done. We’ve been in your shoes so we get it. We’re glad you’re thinking about coming.
You might be wondering what it’s really like at Mercy Hill Church. Simply stated, we’re fascinated with the person of Jesus Christ, and we think He’s not only worth thinking about, but He’s worth following with everything we’ve got.
So at Mercy Hill Church, we want you to know you are more than welcome here no matter where you’re coming from or where you are in your understanding of Jesus. Bring your questions and your doubts and your struggles.
As you’ll hear often at Mercy Hill, we are learning that we are more deeply flawed, broken, and wrecked than we often have the courage to admit. But at the same time we’re discovering that we can experience more of the love, acceptance, welcome, and embrace of God than we have ever dared to believe.
And it’s all because of Jesus.
We get that you may not be there yet. You may have a lot of questions about life and faith and meaning and God. And that’s fine. Seriously, that’s why we’re here. We are all exploring these issues through the lens of Jesus of Nazareth.
At Mercy Hill Church, no matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness that Jesus offers to everyone.
So if you’re ready to take that next step and visit Mercy Hill Church, we’ll be delighted to meet you.
On your first visit to Mercy Hill Church, we’d love to give you a copy of Tim Keller’s book, The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism. It’s a great book that helps you think through the claims of Christianity, answers some common questions, and addresses obstacles that many people have to faith. We think it will be a great help to you.
In the meantime, feel free to learn more about us. We hope to see you this Sunday!
